Weaning & advice
From first tastes to confident little eaters
Weaning is a journey of new tastes, textures and skills. Follow your baby’s cues, move at their pace and choose foods that suit their stage. This guide introduces the journey and shows where products in our Organix range may fit.
Getting ready
Look for the signs
Most babies begin solids at around six months. Common readiness signs include staying in a sitting position with steady head control, coordinating eyes, hands and mouth to pick up food, and swallowing food rather than pushing it back out.
First finger foods
Holding, tasting and exploring
Offer soft foods in shapes that are easy for little hands to grip. Let your baby touch, smell and explore food while gradually becoming familiar with savoury flavours and gentle textures.
In our range: Weaning Wands and Carrot Puffs.
Growing confidence
New shapes and textures
As confidence grows, varied shapes and melt-in-the-mouth textures can make self-feeding engaging while little eaters practise picking up and bringing food to their mouths.
In our range: Rice Cake Clouds, Melty Veggie Stix and Melty Tomato Slices.
Toddler days
Snacks for busy little lives
Toddlers can continue to enjoy many familiar younger-stage snacks when they remain suitable for them. Offer variety alongside regular meals and choose the product and texture that match your child’s stage.
In our range: Oaty Bars, Rice Cake Clouds and melty puffs.
